This week Fantasy Premier League managers are facing several difficult decisions on who to buy, keep or sell. Some of the world’s top Fantasy managers offer their advice on what YOU should do with prized assets ahead of the Gameweek 6 deadline at 11:00 BST on Saturday 27 September.

Viktor Gyokeres (Arsenal) £9.0m

Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL): I think after Erling Haaland (£14.3m), Gyokeres is the next best forward pick for the upcoming fixture run for Arsenal, which really improves after their match against Newcastle United this weekend, as they play West Ham United, Fulham, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Sunderland. Bukayo Saka’s (£9.8m) return should mean even better service for the Swedish international and I expect him to thrive in the easier fixtures.

Verdict: Buy

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) £8.8m

Holly Shand (@hollyshand): Watkins is a sell for me this week. Five consecutive blanks to start the season means my patience has run out. Coupled with Aston Villa‘s poor form, as they’ve scored just one goal in their opening five matches.

Verdict: Sell

Hugo Ekitike (Liverpool) £8.7m

Pras (@Pras_FPL): The closer Alexander Isak (£10.5m) gets to match fitness, the closer Ekitike gets to becoming a sell. It’s not that they will not play together, but the Frenchman’s minutes just take a nosedive – either from early substitutions or cameo appearances. So for that reason, alongside his ban in Gameweek 6 for his red card in the EFL Cup, Ekitike is a sell.

Verdict: Sell

Florian Wirtz (Liverpool) £8.2m

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice): Wirtz has become an easy sell and has been a frustrating own so far this season, with no returns so far. Benched last time out against Everton and with the Liverpool fixtures looking tricky ahead, there are lots of other mid-priced midfielder alternatives offering 90 minutes, better form and appealing fixtures.

Verdict: Sell

Bryan Mbeumo (Man Utd) £8.1m

Pranil Sheth (@lateriser12): Mbeumo is behind only Haaland for non-penalty Expected Goal Involvements (xGI) so far this season and outside of Liverpool in Gameweek 8, Manchester United have some good fixtures from an attacking point of view. Mbeumo is definitely a keep and even an underrated buy in my opinion as he is a minutes monster, who is getting a lot of chances and is even taking some set-pieces.

Verdict: Keep, or potentially buy

Chris Wood (Nott’m Forest) £7.6m

Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick): This is a make or break Gameweek for Wood owners, with Nottingham Forest facing promoted Sunderland this weekend. If you are Wildcarding I would say sell. However, if you only have one free transfer, other fires in your squad to put out, and already have Haaland you may wish to hold. Sunderland at home is a near-perfect fixture, but there is also the danger that Ange Postecoglou may drop him and give Igor Jesus (£5.8m) a start.

Verdict: Sell on Wildcard, otherwise keep

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa) £6.9m

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily): Aston Villa had a fantastic pre-season and it was no surprise to see Rogers and Watkins in so many teams. However, in the opening five matches Rogers has produced just four attempts on goal and has only created four chances. In the opening five games last season Rogers had nine attempts on goal and nine chances created. He is an easy sell.

Verdict: Sell

Morgan Gibbs-White (Nott’m Forest) £7.5m

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily): I bought Gibbs-White in Gameweek 3 ahead of nice fixtures against West Ham and Burnley. He has blanked in both those fixtures. Gibbs-White’s underlying stats actually aren’t too bad, with the midfielder having nine attempts on goal and creating six chances. However, at his price and with Forest’s form he is an easy sell for the likes of Eberechi Eze (£7.5m) or Antoine Semenyo (£7.7m)

Verdict: Sell

Marc Cucurella (Chelsea) £6.2m

Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice): After a fine start defensively, Chelsea have started to look vulnerable at the back in recent weeks. Cucurella, however, is still an exciting pick on his day and has continued to occupy attacking positions. Very few full-backs in the league can compete with him for open-play goal threat. He faces his old team Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend and was given a midweek rest in the EFL Cup so he’s an easy hold for me.

Verdict: Keep

Matz Sels (Nott’m Forest) £5.0m

Andy North (@FPLMode): Sels is an easy sell for me this week. Forest are yet to keep a clean sheet this season and have an Expected Goals Conceded (xGC) tally of 7.70, only four teams in the league have been expected to concede more than Forest. The fixture swings for David Raya (£5.5m) and Gianluigi Donnarumma (£5.6m) make them easy swaps if you have more to spend, with the likes of Nick Pope (£5.0m) an attractive option for the same price.

Verdict: Sell
