PikPok continues to overhaul and add content for their Early Access title Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days, with the latest being “Spill Zone”. Available now, the update adds new endings, more loved and may be some hated NPCs, a recruitable survivor to help fend off the undead, and a new district with all new locations for survivors to explore.

The Spill Zone update sees players explore Distillation Towers, CDC Camps and the ominously named Pit as they look for ways to escape alive. Together with new allies, they’ll face not just zombies, but a deadly poisonous gas that threatens to consume those who breathe in its noxious fumes. As a result, you’ll have to scrounge to find the new Hazmat suit item in order to survive. You can also wield the new Splitting Maul to bash in zombie heads.

Along with the additions, Spill Zone also includes numerous fixes and improvements to the game, as well as some balancing tweaks.

PikPok aren’t done by a long shot, as they also teased a fifth update for Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days coming next month. That one will include new survivor missions, a new starting pair, and the ability to save multiple runs.

Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days is currently in Early Access on Steam, and features a 20% discount until September 26.
