A new report has shed light on what Fabio Paratici is thinking about returning to Tottenham in a full-time capacity after the Italian accepted an 18-month suspended prison sentence.
It has been reported over recent weeks that Paratici is unlikely to return to Tottenham in an official role following Daniel Levy’s exit.
Additionally, Paratici has now been handed an 18-month suspended jail sentence, reached through a plea bargain agreement with Italian prosecutors for his alleged involvement in Juventus’ capital gains scandal.
However, The Telegraph have claimed that Paratici will continue working as a consultant for Spurs despite accepting a suspended jail sentence, and the report suggested that he is also expected to hold conversations with Tottenham over returning in an official role.

GiveMeSport have now backed up The Telegraph’s claim, insisting that despite Levy’s exit, the Italian still wants to be handed a full-time role at the North London club.
The outlet says that the Spurs hierarchy will speak to Paratici, who agreed with Levy that he will lead the club’s recruitment starting from October, and his preference remains to take up that role.
He is still waiting for clarification over whether his role will change following the change in leadership structure at Tottenham.
The report adds that the club’s CEO, Vinai Venkatesham, is set to play a key role in the decision on whether the Italian returns to Spurs in a full-time capacity.
Why Paratici’s suspended jail sentence is not an issue
GiveMeSport backs up what we have heard from other sources by stating that Paratici’s decision to accept a suspended jail sentence is not an impediment to his return to football.
In fact, the outlet claims that a suspended jail sentence allows him to work without a legal case lingering over him, with the 53-year-old not making any admission of guilt.
On Tuesday, Thomas Frank admitted that he enjoys a good relationship with Paratici, having worked with him closely during the transfer window.
