Revised PS5 Pro Model Reportedly Coming Soon in Europe, But Don't Expect Much 1Image: Push Square

A new version of the PS5 Pro is reportedly coming very soon to the European market.

That’s according to very reliable leaker billbil-kun, reporting via Dealabs.

Apparently, the new model (CFI-7121) is simply a minor hardware revision, and will likely be virtually identical. It’s posited that the only meaningful change will be the machine’s improved energy efficiency.

The Dealabs report says there won’t be any reduction in SSD storage space, nor any other tangible alterations, and its price tag will remain the same as well.

It’ll be going on sale in Europe from 30th September 2025.

This move would echo a similar one Sony made with the regular PS5, only in that case, the SSD storage was in fact decreased, from 1 TB to 825 GB. Again, the report says that won’t be the case for this PS5 Pro revision.

Whether the revised PS5 Pro is coming to American markets “remains uncertain at this time”, according to the report.

It’s not unusual for Sony (or other console manufacturers) to release new models of existing hardware, if only to reduce energy consumption or make tweaks to the internals.

Given billbil-kun’s track record, we expect this is true, but we wouldn’t expect to see Sony making a song and dance of it. This revised PS5 Pro will simply replace the current one.
