Verstappen’s first Singapore race for Red Bull and, after qualifying the car fourth (behind the Mercedes of poleman Nico Rosberg, Verstappen’s team mate Daniel Ricciardo and Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes), he suffered a major clutch problem as the lights went out for the race start.
