The body of a man has been found in a park in Bristol.
Emergency services were called to Southey Park in Kingswood at around 6.10pm on Tuesday, September 30 following reports of the death of a man.
Paramedics and police officers arrived at the scene, where a man had suffered a medical emergency.
Avon and Somerset Police has said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
His next of kin have been informed.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We received a 999 call yesterday to reports of a death of a man in Southey Avenue Playing Fields, Kingswood, at around 6.10pm last night (Tuesday 30 September).
“The ambulance service was called to what is being treated as a non-suspicious sudden death after a medical episode, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
“His next of kin are aware of this tragic incident and our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.”
