On Saturday night in Morley, Year 10 student Muhammad Kiani, from Beckfoot School in Bingley, clinched the Schoolboy Yorkshire Title, dominating a tough contest to bring the belt home.

Head Coach Inzy was full of praise for the young talent, when he said: “What a great result for Kiani. He’s worked so hard, juggling school and boxing, and it’s all paid off.

“His father, Maj Kiani, who also coaches here at Lights Out, has been right by his side – travelling all over the country for sparring to get him ready. I’m proud of them both.”

Muhammad had set himself a clear goal: to win a title before turning his full attention back to schoolwork. Mission accomplished.

Now, whether he continues in the ring or focuses solely on his studies, the club says Kiani will always have their full support.

“He’s become a real role model for our juniors,” Inzy added. “The younger lads look up to him, and they’re already working hard to follow in his footsteps.”

With champions already emerging, Lights Out Boxing is firmly back on the map. But this club is about more than belts and trophies – it’s a thriving community hub, committed to making a difference both inside and outside the ring.
