A popular Married at First Sight UK star, who fans have branded the ‘biggest green flag’ of this series, was spotted in Edinburgh city centre yesterday. Davide Anica, a cast member on the tenth series of the Channel 4 reality show, visited the capital on Tuesday, September 30.

In a clip shared on TikTok, Davide was filmed on Multrees Walk near St James Quarter. He was enjoying a day with famous digital creator, Rachel Spicer. The clip shows Davide and Rachel approaching St Andrew Square as they gossip about the show.

Davide said to Rachel: “I have goss for you”, before Rachel replies: “OMG is it about MAFS?”

He added: “Yeah I’ll wait till we sit down” and Rachel quickly spins and takes a seat on the path.

Davide and Keye hit it off immediately and have continued to build ever since then.

In Tuesday night’s episode, Davide was unable to make an appearance due to him being unwell. His partner, Keye, had to attend the couple counselling session alone.

Many people were quick to share their excitement over Davide being in the capital as he was branded the “biggest green flag on the show”.

One fan said: “This has to be one of my favourite friendships EVER.”

A second added: “He is literally the only reason I’m sticking with it. Such a babe.”

A third wrote: “I actually love him!! He’s literally one of the girls and I’m all for it.”

In other MAFs news, viewers were left cringing after an awkward ceremony which aired on September 23.

The episode introduced a brand-new couple walking down the aisle who had never met each other before.

Leah, a 35-year-old business owner from Liverpool, was matched with Leigh, a 30-year-old from Romford, by the show’s team of dating experts.

Leah appeared to be delighted when she spotted Leigh walking down the aisle saying she was ‘definitely a bit of her.’ Unfortunately, Leigh did not feel the same way.

Speaking to the cameras Leigh had her doubts, as she stated: “She’s absolutely stunning, but I’m not sure if she does have a masculine side, so am I going to fancy her? And in this moment I don’t feel like I do, s***.”

She continued: “Leah does come across really feminine so I wanna get to know if she does have a masculine side to find that physical attraction, but I’m worried that that won’t come.”

One of the most awkward moments of the ceremony came when Leah was given a rose quartz, which she casually referred to as a ‘stone,’ a comment that left Leigh visibly unimpressed.

The tension only grew when the officiant invited the newlyweds to share their first kiss. Instead, Leigh turned her cheek, prompting Leah to ask whether she even ‘fancies’ her.

The discomfort spilled into the photoshoot afterward, when the photographer suggested a kissing shot. Leigh snapped back, pointing out she had already been asked to kiss during the ceremony.

Married at First Sight UK airs Sundays to Thursdays on E4 at 9pm
