The Oasis rumour mill has gone into overdrive this morning, with more speculation that something big is set to be announced.

It follows days of mounting speculation fuelled by frontman Liam Gallagher who has made several comments, and taken to social media to whip up excitement amongst fans.

This morning, under the weight of all the rumours, the official Oasis website has crashed. The oasisinet.com website is currently showing a Error 44 and access denied message to those trying to access it.

This may have been brought on by comments made by radio host Chris Evans on his Breakfast Show this morning, when he told his listeners at around 8am that there is Oasis news coming today and that it’s ‘big news for 2026’.

“Big announcement coming soon keep your eyes peeled,” he wrote a few hours after sharing a Grange Hill music video.

He quickly followed it writing “Ready” and “Shall I give you another 5 mins”.

The first tweet garnered hundreds of comments many responding with their theories on what might be coming including European dates, a new album or shows at the Etihad and Knebworth.

On Tuesday, the frontman also shared a now-deleted tweet which read: “MMXXV11.”

When broken down, MMXXV means 2025 in Roman Numerals, however 11 is not and would normally be displayed as XI.

The 11 may mean 2025/11, or November 2025, which suggests something is being teased for November 2025 such as new dates.

Oasis wrapped on the UK leg of their 2025 live tour over the weekend with two sold-out dates at Wembley.

On Sunday, the band played their seventh night at Wembley and the last of their 17 UK dates as part of their comeback world tour.

There are currently no confirmed shows after that, however, there have been rumours the band will play Etihad Stadium and Knebworth next year to mark the 30th anniversary of their Maine Road and Knebworth gigs.

In September, Oasis fans were sent into overdrive at the Etihad Stadium confirmed its availability for summer 2026.

The choice of Manchester venue for the upcoming Take That Circus Live Tour in June 2026 is what sent the Oasis rumour mill into overdrive too.
