The Alpine Formula One team have reported a loss of UK£14.6 million (US$19.7 million) for the year ending 31st December 2024.
It marks a shift after three consecutive years of profit, with the most recent profit recorded at UK£7.8 million (US$10.5 million) in 2023.
Turnover decreased by UK£11.5 million (US$15.5 million) year-over-year (YoY), dropping to UK£238.5 million (US$321.9 million) in 2024. This was compounded by a rise in the team’s cost of sales to UK£194 million (US$261.9 million) and an increase in administrative expenses to UK£56.1 million (US$75.7 million).

However, this accounts for a combined drop of UK£6.8 million (US$9.2 million) from last year’s profit, leaving an additional UK£15.6 million (US$21.1 million) unaccounted for.
Alpine cited poor on-track performance in 2023 as a significant contributing factor, with prize money falling by 12.9 per cent. However, at a time when most Formula One teams are experiencing commercial growth, it’s notable that Alpine pointed out their sponsorship revenue remained ‘broadly consistent’.
That said, the team secured deals with the likes of H. Moser & Cie, Businessolver, JAAQ, Infinox, Apecoin and Modo Casino last year, alongside renewals with Shamir, Banco BRB and the Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
Looking at the team’s financial results since 2020, Alpine have made an overall profit of UK£36 million (US$48.6 million), which is the second-highest among UK-based teams on the grid, behind Mercedes.
