A fan-favorite MCU character will reportedly be returning in the near future.
The second season of Netflix’s Daredevil series introduced fans to Élodie Yung’s Elektra Natchios. Elektra made her MCU debut in Daredevil Season 2 before she went on to play a pivotal role in The Defenders crossover show, though she hasn’t been seen since then.
When will the MCU’s Elektra reportedly return?
According to scooper Daniel Richtman, Elektra will make her MCU return in Daredevil: Born Again. It is currently unclear if it she will be in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, which premieres next year, or Season 3.
Yung’s casting in Daredevil: Born Again, however, has not been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios at this time, meaning this should be treated as a rumor for now.
That being said, Elektra returning in Daredevil: Born Again wouldn’t be terribly shocking, given that it’s already known that Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones, who was also in The Defenders, will show up in the second season of the Marvel Television show. There’s been no shortage of rumors suggesting Mike Coulter’s Luke Cage will also appear, though whether or not that one actually happens remains to be seen.
Plot details for Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 remain under wraps at this time.
The cast of the show includes Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye, Nikki M. James as Kirsten McDuffie, Genneya Walton as BB Urich, Clark Johnson as Cherry, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blake, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is expected to premiere on Disney+ in March 2026. The show has been renewed for a third season, which will begin production at some point next year.
