It’s another week of post-apocalyptic terror on the list. For the second week in a row, 28 Years Later has again captured the number one spot, and it’s not because the infected run really fast.  Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Alfie Williams, Jack O’Connell, and Ralph Fiennes star in the film, which is the return of the creators of the series, director Danny Boyle, writer Alex Garland, and Anthony Dod Mantle, the cinematographer. Series star Cillian Murphy isn’t in the film, despite an early rumor, but is an executive producer.

While the infected have been cleared from the European continent, Great Britain remains quarantined, with only a few colonies of survivors. One such colony, on Holy Island, which has a natural defense of a causeway that floods daily, has a ritual in which young men go to the mainland. A father and son who venture to the mainland find that something has changed among the infected.

28 Years Later is now streaming on Netflix.
