Love Island bombshell Emma Munro has spoken out after she was brutally dumped from the villa and denied that she had a “game plan” with her ex-boyfriend Harry Cooksley

Love Island’s Emma Munro has spoken out after her departure from the hit ITV2 series.

The 30-year-old hydrogeologist was sent packing from the villa following a public vote that deemed her the least popular girl on the show.

Her exit was immediate, and she wasn’t alone; her beau Boris Vidovic also got the chop as the least favourite boy.

Viewers of the show will recall that Emma made quite the entrance as a Casa Amor bombshell, and it soon came to light that she was the former flame of islander Harry Cooksley.

While in the villa, Emma and Harry delved into their past four-year relationship, but ultimately, Harry chose to remain with Helena Ford, reports OK!.

Reflecting on her Love Island journey, Emma commented: “I feel fine, I had a good run and I left with my love interest so I think it was the best way to go.”

She added: “I fully anticipated being the least favourite so I think I was prepared.”

Emma acknowledged her forthright nature, saying: “I understand that I’m really outspoken and opinionated and I perhaps stood up to some of the favourites which probably didn’t go down too well with the public. No hard feelings, I understand.”

Despite whispers of a “game plan” between her and Harry to clinch the win, Emma has dismissed such speculation.

She clarified: “I’ve now left the villa so that definitely wasn’t the game plan. We hadn’t spoken, I can confirm that is just a rumour.”

Emma also mused on the ease of slipping back into old patterns, stating: “It’s very easy when you’ve been with someone a long time, to fall back into that spot where you’re comfortable.

“When we were flirty it felt like everything was good and perfect, but then I very quickly snapped out of it when I saw his behaviour.

“I had to keep reminding myself that those were the same behaviours why I left in the first place and why I don’t want to go back there.”

Speaking about her favourites for the 2025 series win, Emma revealed: “This is hard, but I have a gut feeling that Angel [Swift] and Ty [Isherwood] are going to go the whole way.

“I think they’re both really genuine people so my money would be on them. I see some cracks in all of the other couples, so I can’t fully back them. I think the girls have really carried the series.”

Love Island airs Sunday to Thursday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
