It was a successful start to a professional career which many observers believe will take Todhills prospect Carrigan to the top of the sport.
The boxer, who developed his craft for many years at Border City Amateur Boxing Club in Carlisle and now trains at Tenacity gym in Hartlepool, was on the undercard for the show in Glasgow as he stepped into the professional arena.
The fight came after Carrigan turned professional earlier this year following a stellar amateur career which saw him win regional, national and European titles as well as the World Under-19 title last year.
Carrigan, despite suffering a cut above his right eye early in the Glasgow fight after a clash of heads, soon dominated Przybylski and a relentless combination of punches saw referee Kenny Pringle call a stop to the fight.
Emotion poured out of Carrigan as he celebrated his victory by TKO (technical knockout) on the landmark night in his burgeoning career.
The young Cumbrian is signed to Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions, and is managed by American legend Shelly Finkel.
Queensberry have described Carrigan as one of the best prospects in boxing.
