Following a remarkable season, the nomination highlights Williams’ exceptional contributions and consistent high-level performances throughout the year as Bowling narrowly missed out on promotion from the NCL Premier Division.

Williams, who plays at scrum half, finished the campaign as the league’s top goal scorer with an impressive tally of 85 goals in just 21 appearances.

His efforts helped him accumulate a total of 187 points, making a significant impact on West Bowling’s success.

For the award, Williams will go up against Siddal’s Jamie Greenwood and Waterhead Warriors’ Kegan Brennan.

The winner of the 2025 NCL Premier Division Player of the Year will be announced at the awards ceremony scheduled for October 18.

Fans and supporters are encouraged to follow the National Conference League (NCL) and club social media channels for the official announcement during the awards night.

West Bowling were quick to congratulate their star man following his nomination.

The club said via their social media pages: “We are proud to announce that Harry Williams has been nominated by the RFL for the prestigious NCL Premier Division Player of the Year award.
