A Strictly Come Dancing star has tragically been killed.
Fede Dorcaz, 29, was murdered in Mexico City on October 9 during what is being reported as an attempted robbery, which occurred after the singer left a rehearsal for the Mexican version of the BBC dancing competition titled Las Estrellas Bailan en Hoy.
Authorities are currently hunting for four suspects.
The Mexico City Secretariat of Public Safety revealed that Fede was attacked as he tried to exit a ring road and died instantly after being shot in the neck.
A spokesperson stated: “Video surveillance cameras in the area are being analysed to identify the likely perpetrators who, according to initial reports, were travelling on two motorcycles.”

Fede, an Argentinian model and singer who now lived in Mexico, had been driving home at the time.
Back in May, Rolling Stone labelled him “the rising Latin star ready to redefine global Latin pop.”
The singer is most recognised for his hit songs Cara Bonita, which translates to Pretty Face, and Moka, which he had performed with his partner.

A tribute was posted to the Las Estrellas Bailan en Hoy Instagram account which read: “The HOY family mourns the sad passing of our friend and colleague Fede Dorcaz,” reports the Daily Star.
“We share in the grief felt by his entire family, his parents and his girlfriend Mariana Avila. Mariana and Fede were one of the couples scheduled to appear in the new season of Las Estrellas Bailan en Hoy.
Fede leaves a huge void in our team. His memory and his passion will continue to inspire us forever. Rest in peace, Fede Dorcaz.”

The performer was poised to make his series debut and devastated fans have swamped social media with heartfelt tributes and prayers.
One person penned: “It’s a shame that such horrible people exist in this world. No-one, Fede included, deserved something this cruel.”
Another message to his girlfriend Mariana read: “I hope and pray that God gives you a long of peace and tranquility at such a difficult moment in your life.”
