Those attending U’s games can now use their Apple wallet to keep their tickets on their phones rather than having to search through emails.
From your online ticketing dashboard or directly from the confirmation email you receive after purchasing a match ticket, you can add your ticket to your Apple wallet with a single tap.
Tickets are displayed clearly on your phone, ready to scan at the turnstile.
If you’ve bought multiple tickets, you can store them together in one place and easily swipe between them.
Apple wallet also gives useful matchday reminders, such as time, date, and location, right on your lock screen.
They also now accept the use of Apple Pay and Google Pay, which guests can also use.
Paying as a guest makes the process quicker and easier for those who only attend matches occasionally.
They are also looking at it from a sustainability point of view, cutting down on ink and paper used for paper copies.
It also means less of a reliance on season ticket cards and replacement prints.
As well as less waste on a matchday due to less paper copies being lost or discarded.
