Trai’s day: Fuller came up with four line breaks, six tackle breaks and a hat-trick, thanks in no small part to the work of Jye Gray inside him. The dynamic Rabbitoh had two try assists and two line break assists while also running for 60 metres.

Half-time: Australia have four tries and no goals to lead by 12 at the break. The green and gold had 20 tackle breaks to seven and completed five more sets than the home side.

Two tries shortly after the break put the visitors in front and they did not relinquish the lead despite a furious late rally by the hosts. 57th minute: We are set for a grandstand finish after Manase Watt crossed for his second of the afternoon. An error off the kick off handed possession straight back to the Junior Kumuls and they immediately capitalised to set the stage for a thrilling final three minutes. The two teams couldn’t be separated last year, could we be headed for another draw? Junior Kumuls 14 – Australian Schoolboys 18.

53rd minute: The Australians are one step closer to victory after an outstanding solo effort from Dayne Jennings. The visitors had a three on two down the short side inside their own half and the centre was good enough to slice his way through the line before fending away the fullback and beating a cover defender to ground the ball in the corner. 49th minute: The Australian Schoolboys have produced a superb defensive play to maintain their lead.
