But Nel o not looked good for a while now. Plus bud trained for Nel o and had game plan for nelo for a.long time, which was another disadvantage for nelo.
Bud has for a long time taken it easy as he knew he could make up for it with 1 win against nelo.
In the fight it just looked like one fighter did more homework

Well that is what happens when a fighter gets lazy and starts fighting limited opposition for several years in a row. They don’t train or prepare properly and don’t take their opponents seriously.

When that happens, then you fight like a shop worn and burned out fighter. Well that is what happened to Canelo Alvarez

Canelo must have gotten over confident. Still Crawford has always had better Skills. He was able to take Canelo’s Power (I don’t know how) and it was a wrap after that.

“Canelo was smart that he didn’t fight Benevides but he was not smart that he fought Crawford at this stage of his career”. That’s the story of every top fighter. Picking and choosing who they think they can beat. The risks need to be less than the rewards. The whole sport is all about playing match making chess much
