Celtic have plenty of talent within their squad to see off any title challenge from Rangers or Hearts.

Despite remaining unbeaten domestically this season, Celtic sit second to Hearts in the Scottish Premiership table whilst Rangers are managerless and sit mid-table.

Admittedly, Celtic have not been firing on all cylinders and Hearts have found what seems to be the form of their life so far.

But despite that, former Celtic player Pat McGinlay has fired a warning to Hearts and Rangers as he says there is one man at the Bhoys who is just ‘top drawer.

Celtic do have a number of key players out injured and off form but former player McGinlay believes that as soon as they come back, the league title will be in the bag.

McGinlay told the Sunday Mail, “I fancy them to go on and win the league again this season.

“Rodgers is top drawer, isn’t he? I don’t think you get much better than Brendan.

“They’ve got the players too. I just think the new boys are still trying to settle in.

“Benjamin Nygren looks a player but remember Jota is out, Tierney is still trying to find match fitness, Alistair Johnson is close to returning and when they all get up to speed with the new boys it’ll be a different story.

“If they start winning games again and invest in the January window then Celtic can move forward from this.”

When Celtic play Hearts and Rangers

Celtic are still to face the capital club yet this season. Hearts have already beaten Rangers at Ibrox and will fancy their chances against Rodgers’ team.

They don’t need to wait too long though as Celtic visit the capital on the 26th of October in what promises to be a superb match.

As for Rangers, Rodgers has already drawn with the Glasgow club at Ibrox in a 0-0 draw earlier this season.

Rangers visit Celtic Park on the 3rd of January where the Hoops boss will be hoping to inflict even more pain onto the Ibrox club at the New Year.
