Adventure Ink Books, Comics and Games is set to host a supernatural-themed author showcase during Milan’s “Practically Magic Girls Night Out” on Oct. 16.
The event, scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m., will feature five Michigan authors specializing in horror, urban fantasy and supernatural romance, according to a community announcement.
At 108 E. Main St., Adventure Ink will offer attendees the chance to meet the authors, get books signed and immerse themselves in the Halloween spirit. The lineup includes both award-winning and debut authors, with works ranging from humorous horror to dark romantasy.
Meet the authors
The featured authors are B.D. Prince, A.C. Hessenauer, V.L. Barycz, Lisa Fedel and T. Ariyanna.
Prince, an award-winning author and screenwriter, will present his newly released short story collection, “13 Ghastly Tales of Terror.” Hessenauer, a member of the Horror Writers Association, writes folk horror thrillers with gothic romance elements. Barycz, based in Detroit, has a debut novel, “A Promise Of Sirens,” which follows a supernatural detective solving a magical murder mystery.
Fedel, known for her humorous thrillers, will feature her latest novel, “Show Don’t Tell.” Ariyanna writes young adult and adult supernatural fiction and will highlight her newest romantasy novel, “Shadow Born.”
