Estevao Willian has been speaking about his excellent relationship with Chelsea supporters.
Estevao has not been at Stamford Bridge for long, but the winger has quickly become a fan favourite.
It is not hard to see why, with Estevao recently scoring Chelsea‘s winning goal against Premier League rivals Liverpool.
Their next match sees them take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. With Cole Palmer out injured, Estevao is Chelsea’s danger man right now, but Forest will also have to be wary of Facundo Buonanotte, who has two goals in four games against them.

While Estevao managed to score the decisive goal in Chelsea’s victory over Arne Slot’s side, the 18-year-old started the match on the bench.
As he warmed up before coming on, Estevao could see that Stamford Bridge was expecting something from him.
Speaking in a press conference while on international duty with Brazil, which has been shared by Hayters TV, Estevao said: “I’m very happy with the affection from Chelsea’s fans and the club itself. It’s incredible, you know?
“In the last game, I was warming up, and you can see that people expect something from me, expect something I can deliver on the field. So, I’m very happy and I try to reproduce that on the pitch, make them proud because I see how much they value me, how much they want me to be there.
“So, that’s the feeling, not to let them down, to bring joy to them, to make them proud in the best way I can, whether by scoring goals or helping the team get the victory. I’ll try my best to make them very proud.”
Chelsea supporters were clearly right to expect something from Estevao, who made a real impact after being introduced.
Even before his goal, the Brazilian was causing problems with his directness and fearlessness.
Estevao has been ill but recently trained with the Brazil national team. It means that he should be fine for the trip to Forest on Saturday.
Enzo Maresca’s team won 1-0 at the City Ground on the final day of last season, with Levi Colwill scoring the only goal of the match.

Estevao has also been discussing his position on the field. This term, Estevao has had the opportunity to play on the right and in the middle, and the Brazil international is happy to continue playing anywhere.
“In the last game against Liverpool, I played on the wing, and in the Champions League, I played in the middle against Benfica,” Estevao said.
“Of course, I am open to various playing options; whatever is available, I can play in those positions, inside or outside, depending on what’s best for the Brazilian team. I believe I can help in other positions too, so whatever is best for the team and for the coach, I’ll be happy.”
He has the ability and the right attitude. It is no wonder why Chelsea supporters already love the former Palmeiras star and have a great relationship with him.
