Residents and businesses in Shetland have been without broadband since October 3 after Storm Amy.
Bank machines have reportedly been down and the island’s Sumburgh airport has been severely disrupted.

Customers affected include those with Vodafone, TalkTalk and Sky networks. BT users appear to be largely unaffected.
The cable, known as the Shefa-2 cable, was damaged in rough seas about a mile off the coast of Orkney.
Several other islands have also lost internet connection due to subsea cable damage, including Tiree and Orkney.
Faroese Telecom, which operates the cable, have told islanders it could be another two weeks until the issue is resolved.
A vessel is reportedly on its way from France to deal with the damage.
