Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand, a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player’s match fee, and one or two demerit points.
In addition to this, one demerit point has been added to Ibrahim’s disciplinary record, making it his first offence in a 24 month period.
Ibrahim admitted to the offence and has accepted the sanction proposed by Graeme La Brooy of the Emirates ICC International Panel of Match Referees, leaving need for a formal hearing.
The game saw Afghanistan wrap up a 3-0 series sweep over Bangladesh following a 200-run win.
