Lorraine Kelly was surprised with a gift thong on her ITV show today – however, it had a rather risqué quality to it that left the TV presenter stunned live on air
Lorraine Kelly was left lost for words on her ITV show this morning when she was gifted a rather X-rated thong live on air. The TV presenter was discussing Kim Kardashian’s latest line of knickers, which feature a mix of curly and faux hair in twelve different shades on the front.
Chatting to regular contributor Lucie Cave and journalist Bryony Gordon, Lorraine said: “Kim Kardashian’s new pants – she’s brought out this range of new pants. How would one describe them? They’ve sold out.”
While Lucie said: “The ultimate bush, she’s calling them.” After discussing how the £34 pants had already sold out, Lucie revealed that she had made Lorraine a special pair of her own.

“I’ve made you some because they sold out, Lorraine. I spent hours on this,” she said. “It actually was a beard. There you go.”
A smirking Lorraine was left gobsmacked, telling Lucie: “I don’t really know what to say to that – there is something I want to say to that but I can’t because it’s giving away too much.”
She added: “I did one time – oversharing – I did once have a wax. Jeez. It was the sorest thing ever so forget that. Who’s buying these things? Who’s buying them? Somebody went and bought them.”
While the conversation moved on, Lorraine couldn’t stop looking at the thong. “This is terrible. I’m looking at this, it’s just awful,” she said, laughing.
“We ran a poll on Instagram asking, ‘Is the bush back?’ Bryony, you’re not going to be happy – 85% said it’s not.”
Speaking to The Mirror at the weekend, Lorraine said that the cuts to her show were “heartbreaking” as she opened up about them for the first time. She also said that she wouldn’t be going anywhere despite rumours that she was prepared to walk away from her self-titled show.
“I don’t see me going anywhere until people get fed up, you know? Until people say, I’ve had enough of that one,” she said.
Earlier this week, Channel 4 announced that Lorraine would be presenting a new travel series on the rival broadcaster, heading to Norway on a very personal trip.
“This is a personal journey for me, I grew up with Viking legends and stories, and Norway’s history is so entwined with Scotland’s,” she said in a statement. “I’m excited to discover as much as I can about the country’s mythical past and how it impacts this wild and spectacular land.”
