Connor Wynne’s proposed move to Hull KR will no longer go ahead, with the outside-back now set to join Bradford Bulls following their promotion back to Super League.
The Robins had identified the 24-year-old as a target back in December of 2024, having caught the eye after an impressive season with Featherstone Rovers in the Championship, scoring 21 tries in 27 appearances.
He was named fans’ player of the year that campaign, and later signed a 12-month extension with the West Yorkshire club.
Hull KR were keen to secure the services of the former Hull FC prospect, who came through the ranks at the Black and Whites and was once regarded as one of their brightest young talents. However, salary cap pressures have meant a change of plan for Rovers and Wynne.
Bradford then stepped in, and Wynne will now join the club as they prepare for their first Super League season in over a decade. The Bulls have been ranked 10th in IMG’s rugby league gradings and will replace Salford Red Devils in the top flight.
Former Castleford Tigers and Hull KR playmaker Rowan Milnes is also set for a return to Odsal. He made 20 appearances for Bradford earlier in his career before earning a move to Super League with Rovers in the first of two stints. He finished the 2025 campaign on loan back at the Robins from Castleford.
Both players are expected to be key additions as Bradford’s recruitment drive intensifies under newly appointed head coach Kurt Haggerty.
Former Hull KR winger and Ireland international Ethan Ryan is another who will join the club now Super League status is confirmed, having finished the 2025 campaign with Oldham in the Championship.
