This week, Kim Kardashian appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast for a wide-ranging conversation about dating, divorce, and more.
At one point, host Alex Cooper asked how much Kim spends on glam each year. The billionaire admitted it’s probably around $1 million.

“Well, a lot,” she confessed. “But if I’m filming my show, then they pay for it. If I’m working, they pay for it. So I try to get it all paid for so that I don’t personally have to pay for it.”
But when it comes to everyday items, Kim admitted she had no idea what they cost.

“I mean, I don’t have a concept of what, like, certain simple things cost,” she said, “which really, um, is, you know, I’d like to know a little bit more about what, like, a milk carton cost.”

Unsurprisingly, her comments quickly went viral, with many calling them insensitive and “completely out of touch” — especially given the current state of the economy.

One viewer said, “her inability to read a room and her blatant tone deafness is astounding.”

“this is the very last thing people want to hear given the current state of the economy,” commented another.

Someone else added, “people are living paycheck to paycheck. people in gaza literally being starved every single day. the economy is shit for the working class. and here she comes flaunting the fact that she doesn’t know how much a carton of milk costs……”

Still, not everyone criticized Kim. Some defended her, saying her comments weren’t as bad as people made them seem.

One person argued it’s “everyone’s goal to be able to buy what you need, when you need it and not have to think about what it costs.”
Others even admitted they can relate.

A third shared, “Tbh I don’t really know the price of the basics I buy either. My only look at the price is for meat or anything from the freezer section.”What do you think of Kim’s remarks? Let me know in the comments.
