STRATFORD, CT — Construction is underway for GoNetspeed’s $7 million build in Stratford to deliver 100 percent fiber internet access to more than 12,400 homes and businesses in town, officials announced this week.
Backed by GoNetspeed’s $7 million “privately funded investment, this expansion marks a significant step toward enhancing connectivity throughout the community,” according to a news release.
“With infrastructure built to support multi-gigabit speeds, GoNetspeed’s ultra-fast fiber internet is expected to begin connecting consumers later this fall, delivering more Connecticut residents the power of reliable, next-generation connectivity,” officials wrote in the news release.

Stratford joins Ansonia, Bridgeport, Danbury, East Haven, New Haven, Hartford, and more than 40 additional communities in gaining access to GoNetspeed’s service, along with many other communities that are well on their way to having access to GoNetspeed’s fiber internet.
