Paris Fury has disclosed that her husband Tyson fell into a ‘real slump’ after the tragic passing of Ricky Hatton, as she paid heartfelt tribute to the ‘beloved’ late boxer.
The Manchester-born fighter was discovered deceased at his residence in Gee Cross, Tameside, on Sunday morning, September 14, aged just 46.
At Thursday morning’s inquest (October 16), senior coroner Alison Mutch stated that a preliminary cause of death had been determined as ‘hanging’.
The brief five-minute proceedings revealed details about the star’s final days, with Ricky’s manager Paul Speak – who attended the hearing – confirming he discovered the boxer ‘unresponsive’ on what should have been his departure day for a Manchester to Dubai flight.

As tributes continue flooding in for Ricky a month after his devastating death, Tommy Fury’s wife Paris made an appearance on This Morning, offering insight into how Tyson has been coping following the heartbreaking loss, reports the Manchester Evening News.
“Obviously we’ve been filming this [for their Netflix series, At Home With The Furys], it’s been documented. He has had troubles in the past and he went through a low point, rest in peace Ricky Hatton, it put him in a real slump for three or four days.
“It was a bad place for him for a moment. He’s come round. It opened his eyes to awareness about what can happen at home and you should always talk to people, seek help and seek advice.
“He was speaking to me about how he felt because it was such a tragedy, such young families. He was loved by so many people and it did affect Tyson,” she revealed to Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

Paris went on: “Tyson had a personal relationship with Ricky, especially in the boxing with training, their own little daft jokes, they got along both being Manchester lads.”
The boxing champion’s wife also offered a glimmer of hope to supporters eager to see her husband return to the ring, despite hanging up his gloves in January following his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.
“He teases with it on the regular, he has had so many different offers and he always thinks about it. He says ‘I’m always contemplating, taking on offers, I’m just thinking about it’.
“It always worries me when he says that because he’s promised me he’s going to stay retired. I don’t quite feel like he’s 100% The offers have been there, great offers, and he’s thought about it. I think he’s got to have that love for it and finding that love for it again. I kept denying him, saying ‘I’m not going to go, I’m not going to support you’.

“I seen the twinkle in his eyes and I said ‘if you want to do it again, I will support you’. Watch this space, it’s always watch this space. Tyson could be 55 and it would be watch this space. Don’t bank on it,” she noted.
With cameras trailing their household constantly, Paris addressed Cat’s question about whether the ‘chaos’ becomes overwhelming for her. “There is no secret, it’s chaos every day. I just try to wing it every day, I try to keep a bedtime routine because that’s my only piece of sanity. It’s a hectic life but I enjoy it. I really embrace the chaos, I must love it, I thrive on it”.
“Very rarely [does she get overwhelmed], that’s normally caused by Tyson not the seven kids. If I do it lasts for five minutes, I blow my chops and then I’m good again,” she pointed out.
