Katie Price’s friend Kerry Katona has claimed that she named the star who she alleged raped her in a chat on I’m A Celebrity. The former glamour model stunned the audience at a recent gig where she gave the name of the man she claimed raped her.

During her and Kerry’s live shows, that have been touring around the UK, Katie left fans stunned when she announced the name of the man she alleged raped her. When Katie made the revelation onstage in Grimsby, Kerry said: “I remember you telling me that when we were in the jungle together.”

Whilst the cameras continually capture the campmates’ time in the jungle, the moment was never seen on TV. During her recent shows, Katie has been open about what she alleges happened to her a number of years ago.

She had said: “He raped me and when it came out all my friends said I had got to go to police but I did not go to the police because I did not want to get involved with it all.”

Katie had previously said back in 2009 and 2012 that she would never name the man. In 2012, Surrey Police released a statement saying that they would not be investigating the claims made by Katie that she was raped by a fellow British star. She did not make a statement to police and no official allegation was made.

“Surrey Police treats all reports of sexual offences very seriously and investigates them thoroughly, encouraging anyone who may have been a victim to come forward and providing specialist officers to support them,” a spokesperson said at the time.

“Based on our inquiries and the lack of substantiated information – particularly around locations and dates of any allegations – we have recorded an incident, but due to its very historic nature we are dependent on Miss Price’s co-operation to formally record a crime and continue any investigation.

“Should any new information come to light, it will be diligently investigated and this position may be reviewed.”

She said in 2017: “I was raped by a celebrity but no, I’ll never name him, I just don’t want the drama. I don’t even know if he knows that I’ve spoken about him, I doubt he does.”

Katie and Kerry are on tour with their stage show, where both stars have been open about their lives so far.
