AJ Odudu and Will Best were back on Big Brother hosting duty on Friday night
Big Brother viewers were all left saying the same thing minutes into the latest instalment of the ITV reality show.
AJ Odudu and Will Best were back on hosting duty on Friday (October 17) night as Sam and Nancy faced the public vote.
However, it was a “fake” eviction and the housemate with the most votes will be sent into a secret room in a shock twist.
Earlier in the day, it was announced that former housemates Farida Khalifa and Emily Hewertson will be returning to join the “evicted” housemate.
The news was shared on Big Brother’s official social media accounts but AJ and Will continued to tease their identities during the live show, leaving viewers confused.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “Why are they pretending that #bbuk haven’t already leaked who is going back in?!”
Another added: “Why are AJ and Will pretending like it wasn’t publicly announced who’s going into the house from the official account hours ago? #BBUK.”

A third person said: “Why are they acting as if we don’t know who the new arrivals are??? The consistency is so bad. Do departments not talk to each other? #BBUK.”
Someone else said: “Okay Will and AJ, we know who is going in you told us hours ago #bbuk.”
Emily was evicted on the first night of the current series as part of a brutal launch night twist and Farida first appeared on Big Brother in 2023 and was the first contestant to get the boot.
During her short stay in the Big Brother house, Farida managed to stir up drama and rub her housemates the wrong way by being known for eating Olivia Young’s salmon during a incident where it was going to be “shared” between the both.

Speaking on why she wanted to return, Farida said: “Firstly, I think it’s a fantastic choice. And secondly, the amount of time you put into the whole process, I didn’t really feel fulfilled – I only had a few days in there.
“The most important thing is – the audience has wanted this for such a long time.
“Even when Celebrity Big Brother was on there were rumours I was going back into the House. You’ve got to listen to your fans. I’m doing it for the fans.”
Big Brother airs Sunday to Friday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
