Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham avoided questions about his mother’s Netflix documentary on Friday (17 October) in a tense moment that saw the chef storm off.

Brooklyn is said to have been feuding with his family for months and has skipped important Beckham events such as his father David’s 50th birthday and the premiere of Victoria Beckham, a Netflix docuseries about his mother.

Despite making a brief appearance in the show and turning out to support his father’s documentary, Beckham, in 2023, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola chose to skip the premiere of Victoria’s series earlier this month.

On Friday, at the NYC Wine & Food Festival, where the chef was hosting the Blue Moon Burger Bash 2.0, Brooklyn stormed off when a reporter asked him about the documentary.

Dressed casually in a backwards black baseball cap and grey zip-up hoodie, Brooklyn had answered the reporter’s questions about his chef career.

But the 26-year-old was then asked what he thought about the show. He promptly turned his back on the reporter when he heard his mother’s name. He then marched back into the venue and away from the crowd, reports the MailOnline.

Brooklyn seemed to be the only member of the Beckham clan not to attend the Victoria Beckham premiere. Still, Victoria included him in her tribute to those who have helped her make the show.

She said: “To my husband for convincing me and forcing me, giving me no choice, David. My children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, Harper and David. Oh no, he’s not a child! It has taken this process to realise I am enough.”

She added: “This process really forced me to reflect on my journey, and it has been emotional. It’s been a year of intense therapy, and it really made me realise a lot. I want to thank my mum and dad, my brother and my sister. I’d like to thank the Spice Girls, I love you.”

Though Victoria thanked the Spice Girls, not all of them attended either. While Gerri Halliwell-Horner, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm turned up, Melanie Brown MBE did not. However, Scary Spice had work commitments in the United States, which she documented on social media.

And yet both women have hinted at a Spice Girls reunion. The most recent hint came from Victoria ahead of the 30th anniversary of the band. Speaking on a US radio station Sirius XM, she said it “would be tempting” to do another show, especially it if were for a residency at Las Vegas residency Sphere.

“It would be tempting. But could I take on a world tour? No I can’t. I have a job… How good would the Spice Girls be at the Sphere! I love the idea of it. I mean I don’t know if I could even still sing, I mean I was never that great!”
