Hull KR rising youngster Louix Gorman has been named in Ireland’s final 28-player squad ahead of their double-header against Wales, alongside several other Super League representatives.
The 20-year-old outside-back made four top-flight appearances out on loan with Salford Red Devils in 2025, adding to his previous stints at London Broncos and Featherstone Rovers in the Championship.
He made his debut for the Robins back in 2023 against Wigan Warriors, but could now make his senior international bow this autumn. He previously captained Ireland Under-19s in the 2022 European Championships.
Gorman joins former Rovers forward and Ireland captain George King, alongside his Huddersfield Giants team-mates, Harry Rushton and Connor Carr. Aidan McGowan, who left Huddersfield following the conclusion of the 2025 Super League season, has also been named by Ireland head coach Ged Corcoran.
King’s brother and Warrington Wolves centre Toby could represent Ireland for the first time since 2022, joined by Joe Philbin and Jake Thewlis from the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Ireland take on Wales in Neath on Saturday, October 25th, before heading to Featherstone’s Millennium Stadium on Saturday, November 1st.
