Fans of Strictly Come Dancing have hit out at Shirley Ballas after she ‘refused to judge’ one of the celebrity’s dances tonight (October 18).

The remaining stars and their professional dance partners each took to the dancefloor once again in a bid to make it through week four of the BBC dance contest.

But whilst Doctor Who star Alex Kingston was given the big 10 for her rumba by Shirley, the head judge wasn’t so impressed by La Voix.

The drag queen, whose non-performer name is Chris Dennis, got her lowest score of the competition after Shirley gave her a 2.

The head judge told La Voix she ‘couldn’t judge’ her performance as ‘things went wrong’ from the start during her dance with pro partner Aljaz Å korjanec.

The couple took to the ballroom for a boxing-themed number with a take on a cha cha cha to the 80s classic Hit Me With Your Best Shot.

But their performance didn’t go down well with the judges.

Craig Revel-Horwood said the routine left him ‘numb’ and compared it to ‘going to the dentist’, meanwhile Motsi Mabuse said La Voix could write off the dance as a ‘bad day.’

Shirley’s comments however were considered to be ‘too harsh’ by viewers as she said she ‘wouldn’t be able to judge’ the performance.

But she did add: “We love you and you can come back strong.”

Along with Shirley’s 2, Craig gave a 3, Motsi a 4 and Anton a 5, giving a total of just 14 out of a possible 40.

Fans of the BBC show took to X to share their complaints over Shirley’s feedback and low score.
