Watch: North Belfast teen places second on Junior Eurovision Ireland

A 12-year-old singing sensation — who went viral for her performance of hit track Dance Monkey during the pandemic — has placed as a runner up in Junior Eurovision Ireland. For the competition, Isla, who has been singing since she was 8 years old, sang hit songs in Irish despite not being fluent in the language. Last year she placed third in the competition, which is broadcasted on TG4. Winning the top spot was 14-year-old Cork singer Lottie O’Driscoll Murray.
