HM Revenue and Customs have shared that they are aware that users of their web and app services have been having problems accessing online services.
This is due as part of global issues affecting Amazon Web Services.
HMRC are now pleased to confirm that the earlier global outage affecting Amazon Web Services (AWS) has been resolved.
The issue was caused by a widespread technical fault within AWS infrastructure, which impacted many organisations globally.
AWS has now stabilised its systems, and normal service of HMRC’s digital services, including Government Gateway, has resumed.
Employers and payroll service had been experiencing interruptions with attempts to send FPS RTI returns.
