One long-running Gogglebox star has shared a huge life update in an emotional Instagram post, with plenty of her fellow Friday night TV watchers sending her messages of congratulations.
Georgia Bell, who joined the Channel 4 show for season 12 all the way back in 2018 and is still part of the cast today, announced on her social media profile that she got engaged last week.
“14.10.25. YES YES YES!!” Georgia wrote alongside a video of her other half dropping down on one knee to pop the question on a boat in Dubai, as well as other photos of her showing off her ring.

Georgia’s best friend and Gogglebox sofa-sharer Abbie Lynn commented: “Ahhhh just beautiful. Massive congratulations to you both! So so happy, lots of love.”
“Congratulations!! That’s amazing news,” wrote Gogglebox’s Sophie Sandiford, while the Malone family account wrote: “Such lovely news, congratulations to you all.”
“Congratulations to you both wow great news much love to ya,” commented the account for best friends Jenny Newby and Lee Riley, while sisters Ellie and Izzi Warner both left their congratulations too.
Former co-stars Joe and Lisa and Baggs also commented, with Lisa writing: “The BEST news! Huge congrats to you both.”

Last year, Georgia confirmed that she and Josh had welcomed their son into the world. They revealed that they had named him Ralphie. Their other son Hugh was born in 2022.
“Settling into the life of a family of 5, we all love you unbelievable amounts, little one…” she wrote at the time.
Gogglebox airs Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4 and streams on the Channel 4 service.
