Bradford Bulls have announced that seven players will be leaving the club now that the season has come to an end, with two of those being Super League stalwarts who are hanging up their playing boots.

Those two are, of course, Chris Hill, the former England and Great Britain prop who made close to 600 career games for both club and country, and Michael Lawrence, the Huddersfield Giants legend who played over 320 games in Claret and Gold before moving to the Bulls for the past three seasons.

Five further players have now been confirmed to exit Odsal Stadium, as Bradford continue to re-shape and re-build their squad for their return to Super League next year.

Kieran Gill is arguably the biggest name on the list, having played for the Bulls since 2022. Joining from Newcastle Thunder, the centre scored an impressive 75 tries in 111 games for the West Yorkshire outfit, and will move on to pastures new with a new deal elsewhere already in place.

Former Super League players Tom Holmes and Nathan Mason are also on the out, with the pair’s contract running out and both have not been offered a new deal.

Playmaker Holmes has made 185 appearances in his career to date, with 68 of those coming in the past three seasons with the Bulls. Able to play full-back or in the halves, he will be a handy pick-up at wherever his next destination takes him.

Prop Mason hasn’t had the best stint at Bradford, with injuries limiting him to just 14 games in the past two seasons. The former Huddersfield forward has also had stints at Leigh Leopards and London Broncos in his career.

Bayley Liu and Tyran Ott make up the final departures, with Liu lasting just one season at the Bulls, making 10 appearances.

Ott, meanwhile, has been at the club since 2024, and whilst having an extended run in the side in his debut year, has seen game time limited this year after suffering a fractured cheekbone in March.

No official confirmation has been made on Jordan Lilley’s departure, despite the hooker posting an emotional farewell message to the Bulls fans earlier this week.
