Jack Cleary rode four winners for the Master of Ballydoyle, while Ronan O’Brien was in the saddle for the other two.

Cleary got the ball rolling in the opening Irish EBF Fillies’ Maiden as 4/6 favourite Amelia Earhart put in a classy display to beat Chasing Paradise by seven lengths in the one-mile contest.

Whelan was on board 15/2 shot Ex Animo as O’Brien quickly doubled up in the Irish EBF (C&G) Maiden, showing tremendous resolve to beat Sharkeyboy by a head.

Christmas Day took the third race on the card, the Group 3 Mongey Communications Eyrefield Stakes, with Cleary in the saddle. The 13/2 chance kept on well in the closing stages to beat A Boy Named Susie by a short head.

Whelan got his second winner in the following race as 4/7 market leader Minerva asserted in the final furlong to beat stablemate Garden Party by three and a half lengths with another O’Brien inmate Take A Bow back in third.

Jack Cleary was back in the winners’ enclosure following the Group 3 Killavullan Stakes as 13/8 shot Dorset overcame stablemate Daytona (6/4f) by half a length.

The jockey completed his four-timer in the final race of the day, the Irish Stallions Farms EBF Nursery Handicap, as 13/8 favourite River Ara finished strongly to beat Iamimmaculate by half a length.

Wexford native O’Brien also tasted success across the water on Saturday as Mission Central, ridden by Christophe Soumillon, won the Qipco British Champions Day Two-Year-Old Conditions Stakes at Ascot.

The 5/1 chance was always prominent, took up the running over a furlong out and kept on well to beat Ardisia by half a length.

O’Brien had a winner at the Curragh on Thursday as the Wayne Lordan-ridden 2/1 market leader Appeared saw off the challenge of Pornahapple by half a length in a maiden over a mile and a half trip.

Meanwhile, P.J. McDonald rode a winner at Newcastle on Tuesday of last week, partnering Michael Herrington’s 9/2 chance The Real Mckay to a one and a half-length success ahead of Yellow Lemons in a six-furlong handicap.

The Taghmon jockey got another one on the board at Southwell on Thursday as Ed Bethell’s 11/10 favourite Rogue Citation just hung on to beat Bushwhacker by a short head.

Conor Stone-Walsh played his part as international head linemaker Gavin Cromwell landed a double at Punchestown on Tuesday, 48 hours after his groundbreaking success with Stumptown in the Velka Pardubicka in the Czech Republic.

Stone-Walsh was on board as Cromwell took the three-year-old hurdle with the strong 100/30 chance Secret Force which led just after the final hurdle before skipping clear to beat Bill Durkan’s two-time hurdles winner Hopes Are High, an 11/4 shot, by an easy six and a half lengths for owner Jimmy Fyffe.

Velka Pardubicka hero Keith Donoghue completed the trainer’s double when he partnered the 1/2 favourite Reiki Revolution to land the two and a half-mile maiden hurdle.

Ridden by Eoin Staples for trainer Paul Flynn, The Truant recorded a ready success in the two-mile handicap hurdle. Owned by the Thirteen Apostles Racing Syndicate, the 17/2 chance led at the final hurdle to beat Charles Byrnes’ 5/1 shot Eastmore by a length and a quarter.

Monksgrange apprentice Gabriella Hill rode her fourth winner in all and her second at the Curragh when partnering the Henry de Bromhead-trained Trubshaw to a clearcut win in the 14-furlong handicap on Thursday.

The 11/1 chance led early in the race and again before halfway before racing clear over a furlong out to beat Seán Byrne’s 12/1 shot Quiz Test by three and a half lengths.

Joseph O’Brien sent out his fourth winner of the week as the J.J. Slevin-ridden Talk The Talk landed the four-year-old maiden hurdle at Limerick on Saturday.

Owned by Simon Munir and Isaac Souede, the 9/4 chance led at the final hurdle to beat the Eric McNamara-trained Starting Fifteen, ridden by Seán Flanagan, by a length.

Flanagan and trainer McNamara went a place better with Millstream Lady to win the near three-mile Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Cailín Álainn Mares Hurdle.

Owned by Eamon Leahy, Seamus O’Riordan and Edward Hayes, the 7/2 shot headed Liam Kenny’s front-running 2/1 chance World Of Fortunes on the run to the final hurdle to win by half a length, the pair all of 15 lengths clear of Yvonne Latta’s 8/1 shot Thisistheway in third place.

Jordan Gainford won the two-mile handicap hurdle on the Adrian Sheils-owned Matt Connor. Trained by Philip Dempsey, the 9/2 chance came with a late run and scored by a neck from fellow fast-finisher Footstepstoglory, a 25/1 shot for Harry Kelly.
