PS5 Black Friday Bundle Will Knock $100 Off the Price 1Image: Push Square

Sony’s hoping to fatten a few stockings with PS5s this Black Friday, as word of an upcoming Fortnite bundle comes courtesy of the ever-reliable billbil-kun of Dealabs.

According to the snoop, the platform holder plans to introduce the new console on 21st November, a week prior to the busy Black Friday shopping period.

The console, which is only being rumoured for North America right now, will come with a 1TB PS5 Slim and a digital Fortnite code including 8 exclusive skins and an additional 1,000 V-Bucks on top.

The all-important detail is that the bundle will cost $449.99, which is $100 less than the system currently sells for on its own.

Dealabs describes this as an “introductory offer” for the bundle, but we assume it’ll run right through Black Friday and into December.

Obviously, with the PS5 so much more expensive now than it was at launch, this doesn’t look like a particularly impressive deal on the surface. But it does represent a significant saving over the MSRP, so we’re sure it’ll sell well.

Sony will obviously have a lot more to announce about its Black Friday plans in due course, and we’ll update once we get word of that. For now, while billbil-kun does have a pretty flawless track record, consider this a rumour for the time being.

Do you think $449.99 is the sweet spot for the PS5 this holiday? Or is the hardware simply too expensive this late in the generation? Let us know below.
