After months of anticipation, the first season of The Celebrity Traitors began on 8th October and has the nation on the edge of their seats. We’re already five episodes in, and so far, the Faithful haven’t managed to banish a Traitor – but how will they fare going forward? We’ve got all the details of when and where to watch the next episodes, so you don’t miss the next banishment.

Just like the civilian version, the celebrity edition sees the Celebrity Traitors cast, which includes Alan Carr, Tom Daley, and Cat Burns, in a Scottish castle, presided over by host Claudia Winkleman, playing the ultimate game of deception. After arriving, Claudia selected her group of Traitors, whose job it is to ‘kill off’ their fellow competitors known as the ‘Faithfuls’, in order to be the last ones standing and walk away with the prize money at the end. They obtain the prize money by competing as a group in a series of challenges.

However, the Faithfuls have power too and can banish one person a night at the round table. But will they be able to identify the right people as Traitors? While we don’t know how the whole thing ends, here’s everything know about what time the show is on tonight and the rest of the series’ release schedule.

During the first episode of The Celebrity Traitors, rather than arriving on train, the cast were all picked up in cars and taken to the castle. However, rather than heading in, Claudia sent them on their first mission where they had to dig their own grave in order to find their shield which would allow them protection from The Traitors for the first murder. It was only the first six to find their shield that would get to keep them.

Jonathan Ross, Charlotte Church, Joe Marler, Kate Garraway, Joe Wilkinson and Celia Imrie all walked away from the challenge with shields.

Claudia then picked her Traitors which are Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr and Cat Burns. The cast then took part in their first mission, which saw them having to pull a giant Trojan horse up a hill and taking part in various challenges to gain more money for the prize pot.

The Traitors were then tasked with their first murder which was to take place in plain sight by rubbing the pollen of the black lily on the face of one of the Faithful. The episode ended on the cliffhanger of Alan Carr revealing he had murdered someone but we didn’t find out who.

The second episode picked up after that cliff-hanger, and it was revealed Alan had chosen to murder his good friend Paloma.

Paloma’s death wasn’t immediate and instead the group found out who the murder victim was during the next challenge where they had to guess who the potential victim was. They guessed Lucy, Niko and Paloma, and it was then revealed it was in fact Paloma who had been murdered.

After returning from the challenge with Paloma gone, the attention turned to each other and who is a Traitor. The group then headed to their first round table and began discussing who they thought was a Traitor. The main suspects were Kate, and Niko, with the pair receiving the majority of the votes.

At the start of episode three, all of the votes of the first round table were revealed with Niko being the first to get banished from the group. He revealed he was a Faithful, much to the group’s disappointment.

That evening, the Traitors assembled and chose to murder Tom, as they believed he was a very good Faithful and was likely to work out their identities. The following day the group were devastated to discover Tom’s murder, but there wasn’t too much time to be sad as they had their next mission to complete.

Their mission involved them collecting keys to release each other from a shack in the woods. As some of the group worked on releasing the keys the others were stuck in the shack, which was filling with water, and had sparks flying. Thankfully, they all managed to escape and added another £8,000 to the prize pot.

After their mission they had the next round table, which saw a lot of debate and many of the group be accused of being a Traitor, however, it was ultimately Tameka who was banished from the castle, but not before she revealed she was in fact a Faithful.

The fourth episode opened up on the revelation that Ruth had murdered by the Traitors as Jonathan wanted to protect himself in a double bluff scenario. The decision caused great discussion amongst the group who all debated whether it meant Jonathan was more or less guilty.

They then took part in the next mission, with one group imitating songs from banshees and the other group having to guess what song matched the locket which sang the same song. During the challenge both Stephen and Cat walked away with shields, however, Cat and her group decided not to tell the others she had secured the shield.

The next round table took place after they returned from the mission and it was incredibly intense, with a lot of names flying back and forth across the table. Jonathan and Clare both received a lot of heat, but ultimately it was Clare who was a Faithful, was banished.

The Traitors then regrouped and decided who should be their next victim – Kate, David or Charlotte. We’ll just to have wait until next week to find out who has met the banshee’s screams.

During the fifth episode of The Celebrity Traitors, Charlotte Church was banished, and the remaining participants took part in a challenge which saw them have to answer questions about their murdered and banished celebrity friends. At the round table, the vote was split between Mark and David, which meant whoever was banished would be left down to chance. Cliffhanger or what!

What fan theories do people have about The Traitors?

Well, after the first four episodes had aired, one viewer took to Reddit to share a theory that revolves around 73-year-old actress Celia, claiming she’s on a secret mission set by Claudia as a detective.

The viewer wrote: “Theory: Celia is secretly a detective character. When she makes a correct guess at the round table (which she’s done once so far, for Cat), Claudia surreptitiously responds to her with a wink. No wink means her guess isn’t a Traitor. The existence of a detective in the game will be revealed to us sometime this coming week, then at some point later on to the Traitors.”
