Godolphin has made changes to its management team in Ireland, with the long-serving Joe Osborne stepping aside after 32 years working at the Dubai-helmed organisation.

Osborne, who joined Darley in 1994 and primarily ran Kildangan Stud in Ireland, also assisted in developing and the running of Godolphin’s racing and breeding arms in Australia, France, Japan and the United States.

He will be replaced by Kildangan Stud director Jimmy Hyland.

“This is my 32nd year with the company and I’ve had a great career journey, both locally and internationally. I’m very grateful for the varied and rewarding opportunities I’ve been given,” Osborne said.

“I’ve enjoyed focusing on the Irish activities for the last few years and am now keen to consider other opportunities.

“We have a great team of people at Godolphin Ireland, and I’m confident they will continue the successes of the world-class company we have built together.”
