Chelsea could enter the market for yet another winger when the transfer window opens next year.

During the summer, Chelsea bought Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens, while Estevao Willian also arrived at the club after agreeing to join them in 2024.

Geovany Quenda is set to move to Stamford Bridge next year, too, so the Blues are stacked in the wide positions.

Even so, it has been claimed that they are interested in another winger and have already made an enquiry about him.

AS Trencin’s Sani Suleiman could be the next wide man who joins Chelsea, according to reports. As per TEAMtalk, the Club World Cup winners recently asked for information on Suleiman.

They face competition from London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, though, with the same outlet claiming that the Europa League holders are also keen on his signature.

Suleiman has made seven appearances for Trencin this season so far, scoring a couple of goals across those games.

The Nigerian is still only 19 so is likely to be one for the future if Chelsea are able to sign him.

Pedro Neto can play on both flanks, making him another individual Suleiman may have to compete with for a spot at Chelsea should he be signed and immediately brought into the first team.

As much potential as Suleiman has, the Nigeria youth international is still going to be quite raw at his age, while he has not been tested in a particularly strong league yet.

Again, Chelsea have just signed Garnacho and Gittens. Enzo Maresca needs to see how they perform before the club even consider bringing in another left winger.

Suleiman can also play on the right but has spent most of this season on the left.

Whatever the case, unless their plan is to just sign Suleiman and then flip him for some profit later down the line, there is no reason to bring the young winger to Stamford Bridge.
