Jake Paul has opened up on how he’s really feeling ahead of his fight with Gervonta Davis.

Paul has made quite the reputation for himself since turning professional in 2020, especially after claiming a unanimous decision win over heavyweight legend, Mike Tyson.

He has once again caused a stir in the boxing fraternity, announcing he will be fighting one of the best lightweight boxers in the world next month.

Paul and Davis are set to go head-to-head in an exhibition fight on November 14, at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

It is the toughest test of Paul’s career so far despite his huge size advantage.

And in a rare admission, Paul admitted it was the most intimidated he has felt so far during his five-year stint in the paid boxing ranks.

He said: “I’m feeling good. This is definitely the toughest test.

“I think there’s a lot of things out there about the size, but I think people forget that Tank is a top 10 pound-for-pound fighter.

“He’s got power in both hands, and skill wise and technique wise he’s been doing this for so long.”

“Actually, internally I’m the most scared going into a fight that I’ve actually ever been.

“I know how good these people are that I’m sparring and being able to see how good they are, knowing how good Tank is, it’s actually going to be my toughest test to date.”

After giving Davis his flowers, he added: “Being vulnerable for a second, this is crazy.

“This is scary, it’s kind of keeping me up at night.”

Aware of his talent, Paul enlisted the help of four southpaw sparring partners in the hopes that they could prepare him to share the ring with ‘Tank’.

He may hold physical advantages over the reigning WBA lightweight champion, but Davis certainly has a greater wealth of experience in the ring.

The multi-weight champion has an impressive resume, holding wins over the likes of Isaac Cruz, Rolly Romero and Ryan Garcia.

‘Tank’ will certainly be hoping to draw from his past success when he laces up his gloves to face Paul in Miami.

What do we know about Jake Paul vs Gervonta Davis?

Their match-up can’t be sanctioned as a professional fight due to the considerable size difference between the two men, so will instead be contested as an exhibition with a catchweight of 195lbs.

While that means the result won’t be added to either man’s fighting record, Paul has said there is a large knockout bonus on offer should either man end the action before the final bell.

Set to be contested over ten three-minute rounds, the rules will follow those of a professional match and three judges will be scoring the fight.
