Ahead of its arrival next week, KT Racing has just dropped an extensive developer overview of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Season 5 – featuring a major graphics overhaul, classic returning features, in-game economy tweaks, new cars & outfits and more.

This new season of content arrives for Xbox players on October 29th, being the first update from the team’s Year 2 Roadmap. As we just mentioned, the game’s visual overhaul is probably the headline change here – KT Racing has been working in the background to improve the overall look of Solar Crown.

Here’s a quick example of that graphics work:

ln addition to these visual changes, Taxi Missions are returning from Test Drive Unlimited 2; an event-type where players are tasked with carefully picking up and dropping customers off at their desired location. You can take an early look at this new feature in the gameplay at the top of this article – which also showcases the team’s graphics improvements in video form.

We’ll also throw the team’s Season 5 developer overview down below, which goes over the nitty gritty of this incoming update for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. Be warned though, it’s a good 90-minutes or so in length!
