Conor Benn is confident he will secure a world title shot against Mario Barrios after his clash with Chris Eubank Jr.
‘The Destroyer’ will look to get his revenge over bitter rival Eubank Jr in their November 15 blockbuster sequel at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It was a tough pill to swallow for Benn, but his stock rose in defeat to Eubank Jr given the fan-friendly nature of their 12-round war.
Once again, the bout will be contested at a 160lbs catchweight with Benn stepping up 13lbs from his original 147lbs weight class.
But he will instantly return back down to his natural size as soon as his rivalry with Eubank Jr is settled.
Throughout recent months, Benn has stated his firm ambitions to challenge for a world title in the welterweight division, calling out WBC champion Mario Barrios regularly.
And now in a fresh update on his future after Eubank Jr, Benn has now suggested it is most likely that the bout will materialise in 2026.
“I want to fight for the WBC world title next,” Benn said.
“For me, that’s the priority. I know [WBC president] Mauricio Sulaiman will bless that fight, given history and my dad with the WBC world title.
“See if we can make that Barrios fight next, immediately, providing Barrios wants the fight, which we’ve had communication from him and his team and that’s the fight that will highly likely happen next for me at 147.”
It is a positive step for Benn that the champion is now formally interested in the bout.
But the British rising star will hope he can get back to winning ways and carry some real momentum going into any first shot at world glory.

Barrios, who recently drew with Pacquiao, is set to be next for Benn if all goes to planCredit: GettyWho is Mario Barrios and why does the fight with Benn make sense?
Barrios recently retained his WBC welterweight crown after a controversial draw with Manny Pacquiao.
The 30-year-old was expected to be subjected to an immediate sequel with the Filipino icon.
But he has now been frozen out with Pacquiao wanting to face WBA welterweight world champion Rolly Romero.
Benn is currently ranked at No.4 with the WBC, and will likely be able to enforce a tilt for the belt.
Should the bout collapse, Benn could explore alternative options to chase a world title.
If Pacquiao beats Romero in their potential clash, a showdown with the boxing icon would make sense.
The pair have been heavily linked for several years and even faced off in the past.
