The fate of the BBC One dance show’s Icons Week special has been revealed earlier

Strictly Come Dancing fans have said the latest dance-off results are ‘worse than they feared’ in most shocking leak of the series so far.
Those who faced the latest dreaded dance-off of the 2025 series and the couple who were therefore eliminated is often revealed weekly online ahead of it being aired on TV, which in this case will be on Sunday (October 26) night.
It comes after week five of the BBC One dance contest took place on Saturday night (October 25) with just 11 couples left to perform following Stefan Dennis’ injury forcing him and professional dance partner Dianne Buswell out of the competition.
This weekend saw Icons Week return to the ballroom, with the remaining couples seen paying homage to a famous singer with their latest routines.
Lewis Cope was seen back at the top of the Strictly leaderboard, having channelled Johnny Cash while dancing the quickstep to Ring Of Fire with professional Katya Jones.
The pair scored 34 points out of a possible 40, with judge Craig Revel Horwood saying: “I absolutely loved it, it was clean, it had flight. You are incredible.”
Following Lewis was reality TV star Vicky Pattison who embraced her icon, singer Cheryl, in a couples’ choice dance with Kai Widdrington to the Girls Aloud star’s 2009 solo smash, Fight For This Love.

Judge Shirley Ballas said it was Vicky’s “best dance so far” with the judges giving them a total of 33 points.
The Geordie Shore star also received a personal message from Cheryl herself, who said: “First of all, I wanted to say congratulations on your Strictly success so far, you’ve been doing amazing.
“I’m very honoured and humbled to be your chosen icon for this week, and know you’ve got it in you because you’re a Geordie. So go out there, fight for your place, and I’m sending you loads of love. I’ll be rooting for you from home.”
Meanwhile, in last place with 27 points, was podcaster George Clarke and dancer Alexis Warr who performed a jive to Harry Styles’ As It Was.
And ending the show was drag star La Voix who was dressed as Cher and performed a salsa with Aljaz Skorjanec to Strong Enough. The pair scored 28 points which comes after they were at the bottom of the leaderboard last week having scored just 14 points.

But, some Strictly fans have been left in complete shock after a leaked spoiler revealed which couples landed in the latest dreaded dance-off and which ultimately left the competition.
The results show airs on Sunday but is pre-recorded on the Saturday night after the live show, meaning that the name of the axed star is often leaked online and while the Manchester Evening News won’t be revealing the bottom two or exit results, fans have already been reacting online.
