Jeremie Frimpong is one of the most well-loved additions to this Liverpool squad.

The Dutchman, in many of those behind-the-scenes videos, is always in great spirits making the squad laugh as he and players like Ibrahima Konate have clearly got a great working relationship.

It is a shame that the right-back has not been able to show his full qualities on the pitch just yet because of his injuries, especially now with his latest injury during Liverpool’s 5-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Frimpong has reportedly suffered another hamstring problem after leaving the pitch during the first half of the game in Germany, with Arne Slot confirming he will be out for ‘weeks’.

Hopefully, when he comes back, the 24-year-old will be able to give the supporters that kind of electric performance we are used to seeing from him when he was in the Bundesliga.

The star has clearly slotted in so well into the club because of the fact that he has three other international teammates in the squad with Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, and Cody Gakpo.

These small things make it easier, and as the player has watched the club from a young age, as he has expressed in interviews, he knows a thing or two about some of the top-flight’s best.

During an interview with TNT Sports, Frimpong was asked to pick the best players in the Premier League’s history based on different attributes.

When asked about the strongest, the Dutch player had to go with the captain of his domestic and international side, van Dijk.

He said: “I think I’ll give that to Virgil.”

It is no surprise he picked him because of their relationship, but also because the star is one of the best centre-backs in the league’s history.

In the other categories, players like David Silva and cult figures such as Hatem Ben Arfa were picked for their first touch and flair, respectively.

When it came to the left foot, Frimpong had to choose Mohamed Salah for his team, and for good reason.

The Liverpool legend has scored the majority of his iconic goals with his strong foot, and given his record in the league, it makes sense that he made his list.
