It was back to business as usual on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, as the contestants and their professional dancers lit up the ballroom with Icons Week.
Despite sparkling tributes to some of the greatest music legends of all time, in the end the highest score was just 34.
This mark was received by actor Lewis Cope and Katya Jones, who danced a quickstep to Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire.
Meanwhile, George Clarke and Alexis Warr were at the bottom end of the leaderboard after their jive to Harry Styles’s As It Was failed to impress the judges.
Elsewhere on the show, long-time hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman addressed their shock exit from Strictly, which is set to happen at the end of the current season.
Daly said: “Just before we get started, Claudia and I announced this week that this will be our last series of Strictly Come Dancing.”
Winkleman said: “We want to thank you for your beautiful messages. We’ve got another eight weeks but it’s not about us. It’s about this incredible show and a Strictly champion to crown.”
