A new digital smartphone wallet to hold drivers’ licenses and health records looks set to be launched by the Government by the end of the year.
It will resemble existing digital wallets on iPhones and Android devices that hold credit cards and concert tickets, but will be designed to hold official identity documents, as well as important records.
